Theatrical Trailers and Clips

Studio News and Attachments

  • THE BOX – Richard Kelly gives some bullet points on his adaptation of the Matheson story.  A few interesting bits, the most important of which is the October 30th release date.

  • A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET – It’s now just a matter of signing on the dotted line for Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger.  Great, great, great news!
  • A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET – Kyle Gallner staged to take on the revamped Johnny Depp role?
  • H2 – I really, really, really, really hate this.
  • THE STEPFATHER – I actually like this poster.

Indie, Foreign and Random News

  • PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES – Elisabeth Rappe reviews the buzzed book.  Is not blown away.
  • NIGHT OF THE CREEPS – Is most certainly coming to DVD and maybe even Blu-ray!!  Includes the original ending, which I’ve never actually seen.
  • FEARnet – Help get FEARnet back on Time Warner Cable On-Demand.

Non-Theatrical Trailers and Clips

Last Week in Horror, September 21st to the 28th

Last Week in Horror I realized that the studio horror future is looking grim.  No, not talking quality, talking quantity.  I haven’t come across a new, full trailer for a theatrical studio picture in weeks now.  I’m sure that will change in October as, THE WOLFMAN, FRIDAY THE 13TH, MY BLOODY VALENTINE, and, well, a million other remakes will probably all have their trailers attached to SAW V.

Anyways, on to the tidbits.
