Swinging in the Blog World: Arbogast on LAST HOUSE

Posted by:

The League of Tana Tea Drinkers has begun a weekly (most likely) event in which all of its members re-publish a designated post from another member. Dropping his house keys into the collective blog swinging bucket this week is the outstanding enigma Arbogast of the blog Arbogast on Film.

Follow the Read More link to soak in his tremendous insight regarding THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. His retroactive prospectus unearths an eye opening skeleton to Wes Craven’s permaclassic in the daredevil logic prone to any of the gent’s fine writings.

I should be a hype man.

The tube child of John Cozzoli (Zombos Closet of Horror), the LOTTD is his (and its members) way of acknowledging genre blogs of merit. Membership is invite only, so it is with no shortage of ego that I get to confess my recent membership. I must further confess that I am honored to have been invited.

You may have never heard of the LOTTD, I honestly had not until Zombo himself contacted me, but odds are heavy that if you’ve trawled the internet for non commercial horror blogs, you’ve come across at least one of The League without knowing it (I’ve posted about at least one of them in recent memory).

The member base stands at 18 blogs, all of supreme insight into the genre. The focus of most members is the yesteryear of the macabre, which I know will mate with the tastes of much of this site’s readers. So, without further beleaguerment, the All Star roster of The League of Tana Tea Drinkers (which can also be found at the bottom of every page on this site):
