		<description><![CDATA[Tomas, if it adds anything the film was inspired by a French novel from the 1860s called Therese Raquin; which apparently has nothing to do with vampires.  I haven&#039;t read the novel, but that might add a little perspective on how the film fits (or doesn&#039;t) into the modern vampire tales, considering that its source is classic and unrelated in terms of genre.
