When I first caught a glimpse of this movie’s trailer I was interested because of course, Megan Fox is amazingly hot, but then I watched the whole thing and it reminds me of a movie on the Masters Of Horror series directed by Dario Argento called “Jenifer”
The movies arent exactly the same, the Argento movie is basically about an extremely hideous woman/creature with an amazing body but with a taste for flesh and blood. A detective sees her almost being murdered by a man and saves her and eventually feels so bad for this “thing” he takes her home. She seduces him and they have sex and she then eats his cat, very gruesomely. He falls in love with her but cannot take the murdering she does to feed her hungry for flesh so tried to kill her like the man in the beginning and gets caught so its a neverending chain..
The way Megan Fox looks when she turns “Evil” or whatever, like her mouth, is almost exactly like the other movie.. I cant help but wonder if Diablo Cody stole most of the looks and basic idea from Argento’s movie.
And with the poster looking just like Tru Blood’s I cant help but wonder if Diablo Cody and Karyn Kusama just like to steal ideas from other people for the attention.
This movie looks interesting like I said, but I know it will end up being another terrible “teen horror” movie like all the other ones that have came out. Oh and I know that since Diablo Cody wrote this the “teens” will talk like middle aged men/woman.. which is completely unrealistic, just like Juno. Terrible garbage.

With regard to the poster, both posters came out at almost exactly the same time (obviously the Jennifer’s Body poster art has been around for awhile). Ain’t It Cool had an article up right after the art hit talking about the ridiculous similarities. I guess no one thought it was a big enough deal to change it.

No. The only people who do shit like that, IMHO, are people need an emo-douchey soundtrack to rope in the hipster crowd. It’s pretentious and a testament to why so many people I’ve talked to are of the opinion that this movie looks terrible. If the best thing about your trailer is that you pulled Panic at the Disco for your soundtrack, you’ve got problems

Maybe I just never noticed, but do they usually list at the end of trailer all the bands in the soundtrack? Got to be honest, not a huge seller for me.

I’m positive this has to have come up before, but is the one-sheet for Jennifer’s Body the EXACT same image used on True Blood?
