Why does the devil have a belly button but no nipples?  And what the hell is Monkey Man Extreme?  Is it a new Straight-to-Video label or the only kind of fighting style capable of defeating the Dark Prince(ss)?

I don’t know which confuses me more.

    Well Dimension Films has a “Dimensions Extreme” label. So Monkey Man probably is just some random movie label.

    Since I designed the image together with Albert Pyun’s art direction, maybe I can give you some answers.
    I decided to obscure the nipples & crotch since I thought stores & theaters wouldn’t want to put up a poster that was too sexually graphic. You can really see Everything in the original unretouched photos.
    Monkey Man Extreme is the production company.
    The previous explanations are a lot more entertaining though so I’d be glad to go with those.

    And no, I don’t think it’s from the R. Crumb character.
