I’ve given in and joined the Twitter, which you can follow me along with @PeterSHall. I also intended to mention joining Facebook when I, ya know, joined Facebook, but then I forgot. Should you find the need to complete the triumvirate of stalking utilities or confirm I do not weigh 900 pounds, search for petershall at gmail.
I’m not very good at this whole self promotion game.

What does it mean that I have no idea what Twitter is?
Hey, I don’t blame you.
Dude, you went to FSU?
That I did, graduated in ’06. I take it you do or did?
Got my BA and MA here. Still living in Tally, actually. Small frikkin’ world.
Hah, that it is. You wouldn’t by chance happen to have a copy of FSU’s latest edition of On Writing, would you? I have an essay published in that thing and was never sent a copy. I actually got an email a week or two ago from a dif professor there asking to use it in another FSU textbook, but when she told me to swing by her office to pick up a copy I knew I’d once again never see the thing in print.
No, but I can try and find it. Give me a day or two and I’ll see what I can do.
I’ve actually re-enrolled for the summer to try and get a degree in Creative Writing. We’ll see where that takes me, if anywhere at all.
Good buddy of mine got a degree in Creative Writing from FSU. To this day I harbor an insane lust for his “Creative Writing Team” FSU t-shirt.
Next time you’re in Bill’s Bookstore see if On Writing has an essay in it on Second Life. If so, I may pay you to ship me a copy (or track down Amber Coady’s office and crack some skulls for me).
You people with your big fancy “real” Florida state school. I went to UCF, where the only difference from a community college is all the great sports te…um, nevermind…no difference.
Wait, was that a slight at FSU? Fuck you.
Actually, it wasn’t. I was trying to be self-deprecating. I can’t even succeed in that.
I was accepted to FSU for both undergrad and law school. Turned them down both times b/c I’m scared of the color garnet.
As long as you didn’t got to UF instead.
Nope, I went all the way to NJ for law school.
Go Knights! (They made us drop the Golden. Again, what’s the difference between us and Valencia…?)
