I do. Some scenes/performances were eye-rolling (*points to the band*), but when taken as a whole, things balanced out to be more charming than offputting.

I’ve probably used the phrase a few times myself, but “instant cult classic” (and “cult classic waiting to happen”) now irritates me to no end.

actually, Matt, Night of the Living Dead and Texas Chain Saw Massacre have long since transcended the “cult classic” status and have entered the more mainstream realm of “classic”.

and it really doesn’t have much to do with your personal taste. it has a cult following. a strong cult following, granting it “cult classic” status.

but yeah, you did miss something. that movie is fucking awesome.
