Another week of non-major news.  WORLD WAR Z gets a whole heap of critical internet buzz.  Sam Raimi’s return to horror, not so much.  Radha Mitchell, who a lot of people hated in SILENT HILL, but I’m a fan of, joins a kick ass sounding robot flick.

• I’m placing this under remake news even though it is not an actual remake of CHRISTINE; a mechanic is terrorized by a hybrid car in, well, HYBRID.
• Platinum Dunes remakes the stage play THE BUTCHERHOUSE CHRONICLES.
• Jamie King heading up the MY BLOODY VALENTINE redo, which as a reminder, will be in 3-D.
• A TALE OF TWO SISTERS gets retitled to THE UNINVITED, which also happens to be an Asian film.
