You people are crazy, this looks like a straight ’90s studio attempt to make a horror movie a blockbuster, what with all the big event pieces THE UNBORN looks to have packed in. Am I the only one with fond memories of HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL and THE FACULTY?

i hope you’re right, though. because i’m definitely going to see it. i mean, anytime you got somebody crawling around, lookin’ like some kind of Rob Bottin gag, i’m sold. no matter how shitty the rest of the film appears to be.

I give ya’ partial credence on a few of those points, but I think Goyer is going to land on the awesome-not-idiotic side of his coin this time around.

seriously. those things you just mentioned about it are great. but lets look at everything else. J-horror rip-off premise? a terrible lead actress? lame spooky child jump scares? oh, and let’s not forget Goyer was also the man behind that AWFUL Invisible remake. AND he directed the third (and shittiest) Blade movie.

i give almost ZERO credit to him for Dark City and the Batman reboot. those motherfuckers were all Proyas and Nolan.
