Studio News and Attachments
Skinwalkers pulled from March 30th release date, no new date means I’d put money on straight to DVD.
Clint Eastwood is directing Changeling, which has nothing to do with the original ’80s The Changeling, and a lot to do with the ungodly hotness of Angelina Jolie and the exact plot of the boring flick Flight Plan.
The Invasion was too boring for studio suits, so the WB brought in the "creative" team behind the screen butchering of V for Vendetta to do rewrites/reshoots.
Giant croc flick Rogue may or may not be going theatrical, money says no.

Random and Indie News
Rob Zombie corrects previous MTV report, says original Halloween music will play this August.
Dead & Gone’s official site launches, reveals a plot that rips off a segment from Survive Style 5+, but I’m guessing the dead wife’s arm won’t shoot off like a rocket.
The Reaping will be screened for critics, Hills Have Eyes 2 will not - both will probably blow, but I’m still seeing the later.

I just saw dead silence in theaters tonight and felt that overall it was good with just a few minor things here and there. I felt the gimmick they employed was overused by a lot honestly. I did find the story facinating though and was definatly happy with it at the end. It does have some qualities of saw honestly, like the being lead on a chase at the end, or the twist ending you never saw coming. Overall though it does stand well on it’s own and was curious if anyone else liked it or has even seen it yet?

Dead Silence is something that interests me, but I’m not all that motivated to rush out to the theater and see it. Who knows, the mood may strike one lazy sunday.

I am curious though, so that may happen sooner than later. Good to hear it wasn’t a complete failure.
