Viggo Mortensen cast as the father in John Hillcoat’s adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s post-apocalyptic The Road.
In addition to Diary of the Dead, The Weinstein Co pick up The Mother of Tears, will likely horde it as they did with All The Boys Love Mandy Lane.
Virginia Madsen, Kyle Gallner and Casey Jones cast in The Haunting in Connecticut.
According to a ‘leaked memo’ Eli Roth’s adaptation of Cell is one of the Hollywooder’s fast-tracked to beat the impending strikes.  Le sigh.
Magnet, the genre arm of Magnola Pictures, snaps up my very eagerly anticipated Shrooms for US distro!

    Those trailers were so goofy crazy I really wanted to believe they could just cut loose and make a goofy crazy movie, but I guess they just fell back onto retardation…
