Resident Evil: Extinction - Clip

Studio News and Attachments
Lionsgate picks up "Masters of Horror" for a third ’season’, no network lined up for it, however.
Open Water directors given the helm to a big budget telling of the Indianapolis, because it just makes perfectly logical sense.
Tarsem Singh (The Cell) directing video game adaptation of Condemned retitled as The Unforgettable with David Goyer producing.
Tom Savini has joined the vast of Lost Boys: The Tribe.

Remakes
A looming strike by the Writers Guild of America has apparently fast tracked the greatest movie ever made; Alexandre Aja’s Piranha remake.  That isn’t a strike - that is divine inspiration.
RKO redoing Boris Karloff starer Isle of the Dead.  At least give them some credit for reaching back to 1945, instead of 1980 like every other company.

Random and Indie News
Afterdark Films is launching a non-genre branch called Autonomous Films - where the hell is Courtney Solomon getting the money to do this stuff?
Eduardo Sanchez has a new movie, Seventh Moon, set to start shooting in some unknown country.
