Mellisa George cast in completely original film about a mother who is kidnapped and, presumably, tortured in warehouse.  Oh, and if that isn’t familiar enough, the flick is called Captive
Roger Avary says he won’t write a Silent Hill 2 without Christophe Gans directing.
Donnie Wahlberg sounds pretty depressed about being coerced into a Saw IV appearance.
David Hackl, second-unit director and production designer of the previous incantations, puts ink to Lionsgate’s page to direct Saw V and VI.
Scott Free picks up the rights to an unpublished trilogy of vampire stories called The Passage - for seven figures!
Skinwalkers slips to PG-13 and surfaces August 10th to surely disappear two weeks later.

Remakes
They Live may be reborn as a series on Sci-Fi, according to Roddy Piper.
Troll remake to be directed by its original father, John Carl Buechler.

    I seriously can’t tell, is Trick r’ Treat a kids movie? Like Goosebumps or something? What’s up with the “r’”? Does the studio think apostrophes are scary?

    Trick r’ Treat is seriously the only movie i care about anymore. the only thing i hold any hope for.
