Horror's Not Dead

Horror's Not Dead

"The end is near. I hear a noise at the door, as of some immense slippery body lumbering against it. It shall not find me. God, that hand! The window! The window!"

The Sequel to Horror’s Not Dead Needs Your Help, Maybe

The Sequel to Horror’s Not Dead Needs Your Help, Maybe

April 1st 2007 @ 11:28 am

I have been wanting to do an almost complete rework of the site layout for quite a while now.  I’ve looked into some templates close to what I have in mind and even started to make some progress before something distracted me.  I think it was a loud bug outside.

So, my proposition to you, dearest reader: do you, or someone you know, have adequate skillz to design a blog site that uses WordPress as its backbone?  I’m not looking for some elaborate, flash oriented site where each link climbs out of a grave when you click on it.  I’m not looking for graphic intensive work or even anything explicitly horror related - ie, no dripping blood animations or gravestones that read "RIP Horror."  Oh, and most importantly, I’m not looking to pay a ton of money for this; preferably none.  Though, should the right person make an offer, money isn’t an impossibility.  But lets put it this way, if you design sites for a living, unless you’re feeling very charitable, you should be more inclined to expect 2000 hand typed emails of my thanks than a $2,000 check.

If this sounds like something that interests you, or someone you know, shoot me an email (peter @ horrorsnotdead.com) and I’ll let you know more of what I’m looking for.

Oh, and I’m still in the Middle East and still not dead.  Yay!

I think that, since this was posted on April Fool’s Day, it’s a trick, and you really are dead.

Unfortunately, no. However, you have made me realize that I missed a truly beautiful setup for an April Fools joke, had I actually had someone else post my death notice after announcing a week prior my trip to the ME.

what about a wiki type site? That’s free, you can still have the wordpress, and it’s something different.

Not really sure what kind of changes you want, though =/
