I was definitely enjoyed this movie, maybe the best horror of 07. That’s not saying much, but what ruined this movie for me was a random thought that popped in my head and wouldn’t leave was after they had been in the attic for like 1-2 weeks all I could think of was “Where do they poop?”

As for what the vampires were doing in their spare time…my guess is they were trying to figure out the same thing. But I could just be full of shit.

Can you give us a synopsis of your reviews as well? I’m not trying to read spoilers, but I still want to see what you thought of the movie.

My friends didn’t like it nearly as much as I did.
to quote them,

Random harsh noises to make people jump? Check.
Characters strangely ending up at destinations with no explanation as to how or why they got there? Check.
Strange, new vampire moonspeak not apparently present in the graphic novel? Check.
Vampires that sound like pterodactyls? Check.

Those apparently make the movie bad.

I loved it, absolutely loved it, but I agree that some things could have changed, Josh Hartnett was off, he played it like it was just something he wasn’t enjoying, rather than the energy he usually puts a movie.
