Yes, maybe a little warming up to. But watch it again, and possibly with some newbies, and you'll be laughing your ass off through most of it. I know I have!

It takes some warming up to, but it's a tremendously complex piece with style to spare.

Now go make a feature!

"After watching Scream for Me with commentary, it may be my favorite of the three. "

Thanks for that. Another SCREAM FOR ME convert is born!

Glad they got there and that he had a chance to sign 'em.

After watching Scream for Me with commentary, it may be my favorite of the three. Being told details I should have picked up on my own shouldn't be a requisite for enjoying a movie, but either way, it is an incredibly layered piece.

My Skin is just slickly cool, though. Let me know if you get around to reading Puzzleman. It is a very different book that has a wicked imagination in its later half.

I've been meaning to send you a thank you. I received all the goodies last week and checked out the DVD immediately. I had pretty much the identical reaction as you. My Skin is one of the best short films I've seen (which admittedly does not include many) and Scream for Me and Human No More did next to nothing for me. Scream for Me plays like an account of one of John Doe's crimes in Seven, and I have no interest in watching that. That being said, CAB is clearly a talented guy and it would be an injustice for him to not move on to bigger things.

I haven't had a chance to check out the special features yet (it seems like I never do) but you have made me curious.

And he even personalized the DVD, CD, and book for me. That's top notch.
