I honstly liked everything Eli Roth has done including Hostel and Part II. I’m not sure what is in store for him next or what heplans on doing but if it’s not a horor movie i might be disapointed. I heard he was going to try and work on a comedy movie…Umm…right? I do not think older necessarily equates to “high class.” Sure he has a couple “classy” picks (The Vanishing, The Thing), but I’m afraid movies like Zombie and Cannibal Holocaust are what he truly gets off on.

I would be astounded if Roth has never masturbated to a picture of an open sore.

“I’m Eli Roth! This movie, this movie, this movie and this movie influenced me while making Hostel, a movie that turned out worse than each of them. But those bastards who did Blair Witch? They STOLE from the film abomination known as Cannibal Holocaust, and in turn, made an excellent film!

The AV Club is one of my favorite sites (*ahem* besides this one, of course). Partly because Eli Roth is not a regular contributor. They do a lot of these “list” type things, and since it’s that time of year, they asked a horror film personality to participate. Were it a month or two ago, they probably would have asked Rob Zombie.

Being a fan of TCM’s Underground, I’d have to think Zombie’s list would have been better. He needs to get back to hosting that show again.
