Seriously though, I've never read a bit of his writing. It's probably b/c I saw The Unnamable when I was a kid and thought if somebody can write a story that terrible there is no way anything else he has done can be good. Obviously, it isn't his fault his books have been adapted into some of the worst movies ever, but man it really sours him for me. The name "Lovecraft" just gives me a headache of mediocrity. Ethan Haas just makes me think of Ethan Hunt and now I want to watch the first Mission Impossible again. Who the heck is this Lovecraft guy?
