I have a few reviews in the can, which I will post throughout the next few weeks, but I’m likely not going to be doing any News Re-Caps with regularity and definitely won’t be doing any theatrical reviews - which is a damned shame considering this week has about a dozen horror movies in theaters around the US.

The reason being I’m currently laying down in a hotel room in Qatar.  If things stay on the schedule they are, I’ll be gone almost two weeks, come back for 6 days, then fly out to Cyprus for another two.  I don’t know what kind of downtime I’m going to have, but I plan on spending as much of it as possible on writing fiction again.  I’ve decided to finally say I’m committed to getting committed.  You’ll still have stuff to read, it probably just won’t be very timely.

Now if only I could get some real sleep in and turn off this damned hotel TV.  There was a music video on earlier that featured a guy who looked like Andy Samberg prancing down the streets amid a parade of larger sized women singing something along the lines of, "Big girls are sexy!"

Flipping through the channels in foreign hotels is exactly like watching YouTube nonstop.  I can barely turn away, but I know I’ve got to go cold turkey.

Oh, if any of you catch any of the Horrorfest movies and are not a terrible writer, I’d be glad to publish some "guest reviews" while I’m gone.
