		<description>I actually liked the TCM remake.  I don't think it's as kickass as the Dawn remake, but it held its own and is one of the better "re-imaginings" to come out of the studio system.

Same thing happened to me with the original Wicker Man.  I had a whole host of people on &lt;a href="http://movieforums.com" rel="nofollow"&gt;MovieForums&lt;/a&gt; praising it any chance they got, and I just don't see why.  Watching it was an endurance test.</description>

Of course, every other damn incarnation of the franchise has sucked, but I'll be renting the DVD release of this one for sure.  In the meantime, thanks for the new desktop wallpaper.

As for the Wicker Man&#8212;with Nicholas Cage no less&#8212;I'll pass.  I've never been more dissapointed in a movie than I was with the original.  I blame the Losman, who's website (Losman's Lair of Horror -- RIP) built that thing up in my mind way, way bigger than it ever should have been.</description>
