Horror's Not Dead

"The Living Dead and the dying living are all the same. Cut from the same cloth. But disposing of dead people is a public service, whereas you're in all sorts of trouble if you kill someone while they're still alive. "

This is one of those times where I pull the Sci-Fi card out.  You may have heard about Heroes, an hour long series NBC picked up for their Fall slate, about people who start to realize they have super powers.  If you’re like me, when you heard about it you laughed it off as being a silly rip-off of TNT’s more-than-decent "The 4400", except without the original premise of the empowered being abductees suddenly returned to earth.

Well NBC just broke my jaw, because this show looks to exceed any expectation I - or pretty much anyone - ever had for it.  Watch the trailer and you’ll realize why I’m pulling out the Sci-Fi card on this here horror site.

Between this and Aaron Sorkin’s Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, NBC just owned my Monday nights from 9 to 11.

HEROES will be the break out hit of the season! I truly believe that this series will give LOST a run for its money. The trailer that you linked to is awesome! There are other trailers and media clips at http://www.heroes-tv.com as well.

Yeah, that looks pretty good. I get like a X-Men meets Veronica Mars meets The 4400 vibe. Could be worse.

Anything meets Veronica Mars wins in my book.
