I kind of assumed no one read the Stories and Scripts section of the site, until a comment was recently left on the only story in there.  So, to put something new up I’ve posted a 20 page short script I wrote when I was 19 (man, that seems forever ago).  I’ll just repost the description on the Stories and Scripts page:

Twisted Disk of a Spiral Galaxy (also available as a Word Doc)
I haven’t re-read this first draft since I originally wrote it close to two years ago.  What that means is it’s probably poorly written/structured, but I’m too lazy to fix it.  That isn’t a very seductive statement to get you to read this 20ish page script for a short, but with all its formatting woes and such, it’s still a pretty decent jab at the heart.  I’ve been told it’s made more than a few people cry, so that means the job was somewhat well done.
Oh, I suppose you could say it’s about a hard choice a young man in love makes and the horrorific (albeit unrealistic) ramifications later in life.

I’m ticked off that these pages still show up on the review index. What the heck did we do wrong?

I have no clue, everything looks like it should theoretically. I think I’m just going to manually make an alpha review index.

I’m also wanting to drastically redesign the site, but I don’t have what it takes to make it what I want it to be, so who knows when that’ll happen.

Maybe that’s best. The whole thing was based on a pretty tight pre-existing syntax anyways. Anything that slightly deviates (the Christopher Alan Broadstone review), and it’s game over.

The good thing is, the rest of the site is all Wordpress, so you can pretty much do whatever the hell you want to it as far as a redesign.

If you need any help, just let me know.
