I’m Making News Up!

I’m not sure this of anyone’s interest since I’m basically making it up, but I’m posting it simply as a record to see whether I was right or not once the word does break.

Drew McWeeny revealed in a recent DVD review that he would be working with both Ron Perlman and Guillermo Del Toro in the future, but he didn’t say on what projects and responded with only:

Well, Ron Perlman is involved in one of the two projects, and Guillermo is involved in the other, Peter.

Beyond that, you’ll just have to wait and see. :)

So, my money says that the awesome Ron Perlman is starring in Drew’s upcoming scripted Masters of Horror episode titled "Pro-Life", which is directed by the one and only John Carpenter and has something to do with fetuses – and boy do I love playing with fetuses.  And I’m betting that Del Toro will be an executive producer on Invasion, which is Drew’s ‘family home invasion’ movie.  It’d be awesome if Del Toro were directing that film, but I doubt it given the mans production heavy slate: Pan’s Labyrinth, which hits this summer and Hellboy 2 plus Killing on Carnival Row, which he is in talks to direct.

Anyways, I’m just glad that the man gets to work with such high profile (to people like me, at least) talent.  Congrats, even if I’m entirely wrong about this.

Hey, this is my vacation, so get off my back!

I do plan to write up a ton of reviews between now and the weekend (Christine and I have fit in a pretty damn good deal of watching), so I’ll have plenty of stuff for people to check out…

Do you really have a girlfriend, or is it just a car?

Haha, no, I do have a girlfriend, but I can see why you’d doubt. :D
