i personally didn't think that character was a jerk at all.

in fact, one of the things i loved most about WOLF CREEK is that ALL the characters were genuine. no stereotypes, cartoons, or projections. just three real human beings with flaws who were trying their best to get along.

they all seemed nice. maybe not the brightest or most reserved. but friendly and fun-loving without being too obnoxious.

i was completely invested in all of their fates.

I give the one up to Wolf Creek, but it still didn't do much of anything for me. The only thing it had going for it was that it wasn't American.

I didn't like either particularly but I definitely give Wolf Creek props for a better storyline.

I didn't like Wolf Creek because it was disappointing, the jerk lived and the gutsy heroine died.

Sure it was a swap for once, but I like the gutsy heroine living and watching the jerk die. :P

This was such a disappointment for me.

After so much build up, and rave reviews from critics, I finally get to see it...and I'm busy going "What?" throughout most of the movie.

I read reviews of critics who said they spent most of the time looking down at their laps and cringing, and even when the movie was obviously over I was going "Maybe it's going to do a jump out scare tactic."

The only thing remotely bad about it was the eye thing, and that's simply because I'm the only person I know who has routine nightmares about eyes.

First movie I ever seriously considered walking out of. There IS such a thing as too much tits, and hey, if done right I love my share like any other. At least they could have made it up to me with some half-decent gore. The only thing that scared me was the fact that other people would have to sit through this film. I left with mixed emotions of dissapointment and anger...and, well, just plain sadness.
