well, i look forward to your review.

i hear that it's not as good as all the hype makes it out to be, that you should go into it with few expectations and you'll come out satisfied with the spirit of the film, if not the letter.

Not yet, but only because I'm saving it for the 13th. It's been a bitch to resist watching it, though.

Feast is great. The only problem is Gulager got a bad case of Greengrass/Nolan disease during the action sequences and you can't tell what the hell is going on. Aside from that... pure joy.

have you seen The Roost? that's the one i'm dying to check out.

I've been wanting to watch Abominable, and it sounds like it pretty much lives up to what I expected. Everything loops back to Lance Henriksen. He was badass in the Garden a few months back.

Just noticed I left Feast out of my guide, which is sad since I've been looking forward to it for months. Too lazy to add it in right now, though.

also, i saw Abominable last night. EXCELLENT monster, great score, good gore, Combs, Henriksen and Gleason (R.I.P.) are all amazing, as usual. but Schifrin really has no clue how to tell a story or put interesting shots together. shame. it could've been phenomenal. as is, it's just a bleh film with some truly exceptional components.

too bad.

understandable. i never really got into The Sopranos. Deadwood is the title i really want to get to but always ended up missing or ignoring.

Six Feet Under is, however, incredible. and with this set coming out you have no excuse.
