I’ve been wanting to see this movie for a long time. It’s subtly horrific. I’ve seen some parts of it which makes me want to watch more! The actresses are also amazing. I found out that the Mrs. Li actress (Miriam Yeung) is a well-known singer and comedy actress in HK, so this film must have been her most daring ever.

I’ve only seen the shortened version of this movie, and holy god did those dumplings make me hungry. Not for fetus flesh, but for regular dumplings.

Never watch this movie on an empty stomach is what I’m trying to say, I guess.

On a more relevant note, this sounds fantastic. I’ll definitely look into it

Just finished watching this, and it blew me away. God, what a disturbing piece of cinema . . . I’ll never forget it, that’s for sure.

I’m with you, though: I think I like the short better.

You should check out 3 Extremes. Dumplings is the highlight, but the other 2 hold up. I even prefer the 3 Extremes cut of Dumplings to the feature cut (which is in full on the second disc if you buy the US R1 copy), solely because of the ending.
