I did a little search on colic - becauses it sounds like a disease - and came up with this:

"Colic is when a baby cries for longer than three hours every day for more than three days a week. It is the extreme end of normal crying behaviour. The condition is harmless, though it can be very distressing for parents or carers. The cause is not known, but there are ways to help calm a baby down."

"There is no single medicine or proven cure for colic, but there are several measures that may help. Different babies are comforted by different measures, and parents usually need to try various methods to see what works."

Yeah, like cutting of his hand and throwing it into a blender.

I was thinking of an epidemic where parents are throwing infected body parts into blenders just to make sure it doesn't infect them or the rest of their child.

That's kind of what scares me the most about the poster. I've still got no clue what the movie is about, so already in my head I've made up some story about a child who, through the severity of his own bodily mutilation, can kill people with the power of his thought or something. I'm sure the real story isn't anything close to that, but still.

Plus, if that baby was screaming his head off, it'd be the most taboo/offensive image ever made.
